This spec commercial puts a twist on how applesauce is made by paying homage to stop motion classics like “Clash of the Titans”.

The weapons and props were sculpted from clay and attached to the apples using armature wire, which was ultimately removed. This made the weapons look like they were floating, but allowed them to maintain a consistent distance from their welder.
